Hurricane Melissa has brought severe devastation to our nation. The JMDA Disaster Response Committee remains steadfast in its mission to strengthen healthcare delivery and safeguard the wellbeing of our nation and her doctors. Your continued support ensures that our doctors can serve every community from Kingston to the most remote rural parishes.
While this is a difficult time, the JMDA remains firmly committed to supporting the health sector and working with the Ministry of Health and Wellness and our partners to rebuild stronger and better than before.

December 6
The Jamaica Medical Doctors’ Association (JMDA) is partnering with Aventa Jamaica on a medical mission to support the people of Westmoreland. The mission proudly features internationally renowned Jamaican artiste Sizzla and his Youth Foundation.
November 19
Over 30 patients were seen and treated by the JMDA at the Williamsfield Primary School, Westmoreland.
November 13
Care Packages were delivered to the St. Elizabeth Health Department and a wellness check was performed at the Mandeville Regional Hospital.
November 8
Falmouth Public General Hospital, Trelawney Health Department, Noel Holmes Hospital and the Savanna-La-Mar Public General Hospital received care packages and support.
November 7
Relief Efforts were provided to the Falmouth Public General Hospital, Trelawney Health Department, St. James Health Department and Cornwall Regional Hospital.
November 4
Support and relief were provided to the doctors at the Cornwall Regional Hospital.
November 1
Care packages and support were provided to the doctors at the Black River Hospital.
